Wild Eggs, locations in Downtown, Kenwood and Oakley. Offers a variety of healthy vegetarian choices. Our pick: Wild mushroom and roasted garlic scramble.
Maplewood Kitchen and Bar, 525 Race St., Downtown. Choice of several vegetarian options. Our pick: Quinoa cakes.
Northside Yacht Club, 4231 Spring Grove Ave., Northside. Relax on the patio with some Killer Tofu and a Bender-Ender cocktail. Boom.
Nation, 1200 Broadway, Pendleton. Go for the bottomless mimosas, stay for the breakfast burrito, which can be made vegetarian upon request.
Spoon & Cellar, 701 Broadway, Downtown. Tucked away inside a Holiday Inn on the edge of the city, this restaurant is slightly off the beaten path but offers some tasty vegetarian options. Our pick: Crustless quiche.
Metropole, 609 Walnut St., Downtown. Located inside 21C hotel, this restaurant’s brunch specials are as interesting as the contemporary art inside. Our pick: Brioche French toast.
Sleepy Bee Cafe, locations in Oakley and Blue Ash. Not only does Sleepy Bee have excellent vegetarian choices, they offer a wonderful vegan tofu scramble.
Molly Malone’s Irish Pub, locations in Covington and Pleasant Ridge. Stop in on game day and enjoy camaraderie with fellow fans. Our pick: Biscuits and vegetarian sausage gravy.
Taste of Belgium, locations in Over-the-Rhine, The Banks, Clifton and Rookwood. You simply cannot go wrong with Belgian waffles, right?
Hangover Easy, 13 W. Charlton St., Corryville. With menu sections called “The Morning After” and “Between the Sheets,” this place gets top marks for humor as well as vegetarian choice. Our pick: Struggling To Get Up (pancakes with option of chocolate chips or seasonal fruit).
Cheapside, 326 E. 8th St., Downtown. Sadly no booze on offer here, but their Challah French toast is pretty much to die for.
Green Dog Cafe, 3543 Columbia Parkway, Columbia-Tusculum. This popular brunch spot has several delicious vegetarian offerings, including the Rossz Kutya burrito.
Katharina’s Cafe-Konditorei, 736 Washington St., Newport. Offers an authentic German menu with European coffee and pastries. The brotchen with honey and marmalade is unbeatable.
