Deck 84’s seasonal menu includes vegetarian-friendly fare and new cocktails

This oasis of American dining on the Intracoastal Waterway next to the Atlantic Avenue bridge is offering seasonal selections though October.

“I love the roasted Brussels sprouts ($12), which can be vegetarian,” says Jon Greening, partner and corporate executive chef. “There is a lot going on with Asian flavors meeting smoky Neuske’s bacon and chevre goat cheese. I want to possibly expand our vegetarian menu options.”

Other additions are pesto bucantini ($16), shrimp scampi bucatini with roasted garlic cream ($25), herb-grilled 8-ounce filet mignon with pancetta and red-wine sauce ($27), herb-grilled bone-in chicken chop with lemon-herb pan jus ($19) and Sunday-gravy-braised meatball rigatoni with Italian sausage-short-rib ragu ($24).

Six new cocktails ($12-$14) are Goombay Smash, Cucumber Cooler, Huckleberry Ginger Lemonade, Pineapple Blueberry Mojito, Deck Punch with dragon-fruit rum and Delray Breakfast with pineapple and orange vodkas and peach schnapps.

Summer promotions through September include half off wine bottles on Wednesdays; Friday night fish-fry platter with a pint of Sam Adams beer for $19; kids younger than 13 eat free with entree purchase Sunday through Thursdays; and extended happy hour from 11:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. weekdays.
